Femininomenon - Luv me a play on words. Is this a bad song? Not at all. Is it something I can listen to all the time? Sadly, also no. But Chappell is such an icon so… purr.
Red Wine Supernova - This is the part where I tell you I listened to this album a long ass time ago but I still wanted it on my website because it means a lot to me. THIS SONG??? Girl this is what got me into Ms. Roan because I saw her on Conan when I was flipping through channels and I was like I KNOW A HOMOSEXUAL WHEN I SEE ONE! And so I dove into the album and here I am. Anyway this song? God tier. I want this played when I ascend to heaven.
After Midnight - I have such a lovely history with songs titled after midnight… this song is no exception. It's also a song that was so good, in fact, that it gave me a story idea which is SO good for me!
Coffee - This song isn't in my likes and I'm wondering why… I think it was just too sad for me the first time I listened to it. I think that still rings true, but it's still a really good song, and if I'm able to get over the memories it brings me… perhaps I will write a story ab this song.
Casual - THE SONG EVER?? Perhaps! This also wasn't in my likes which is really weird… because I really like it a lot. KNEE DEEP IN THE PASSENGER SEAT MANNN
Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl - I don't know why I have no recollection of hearing this song… what is going on!! It's not bad at all, but it falls in the same category as femininomenon where it's a little bit too tech-y for me to enjoy all of the time, but it's great for when the mood hits!
HOT TO GO! - I remember seeing the dance to this on TikTok a whiiiile ago and I kick myself for not checking it out then… but better late than never!! Chappell Roan we fucking love you. This song is so fun and the dance is SO fun and it's just. So fun.
My Kink Is Karma - I do remember listening to this song, and I also remember not loving it as much… I think I wanted a little more, especially after HTG but it's not bad! I cannot stress enough how good this entire album is but some things are just not for me… Lyric wise though,,, might also make a story out of it.
Picture You - I feel like my taste is all over the place because this is also one of my favorite songs. Maybe, though, it's because this song is clearly about masturbation which is, as a concept, something I strive to normalize and destigmatize and all that jazz, and ALSO the gay undertones (overtones?) are. Well. :) Very nice.
Kaleidoscope - This is also a song I don't remember hearing, if I'm being honest, I might have skipped it since it was really sad and I was listening to this in the middle of the night and did not want to invite those feelings in. The same is true now, to a degree.
Pink Pony Club - This also quickly became one of my favorites, if I'm honest. It's techy but simple and is so fun and serious but also unserious yknow? I dunno.. It's something I would recommend a lot, which I think says a lot
Naked In Manhattan - This is another song I'm really confused as to why it isn't in my likes…I think it had to grow on me, but it has indeed done so, which I think is really neat :)
California - I think this is another song I skipped because it was Big Sad hours so… I will give it a new chance right now. Hmm. I mean. Yeah! It's a good song… but it does give me the big sads so… hrm.
Guilty Pleasure - I think I didn't listen to this one because I fell asleep the first time I listened to the album FHDSJKFHKD oops! If it weren't for the end part, I think that it would be one of my favorite songs… sigh I hate being picky.

C'est La Vie - I will start off by saying I'm not the biggest cravity fan on earth but i am by no means a hater,,, i just have never sat down to listen to them much. That does not exempt them from my hatred of falsetto, though, so we'll see how much that happens in the rest of the song. Okay so it's like… there but not enough for me to be bothered with it for very long which is nice. It's an alright song! It's going in my likes because it's something I can jam to but it does not make the April favs playlist sadly.
Love or Die - I feel like? I've heard this song before? Oh. No I haven't. Someone else had a song with the words love or die… I'm very happy that this isn't that song and I'm sorry to whoever did that other song. I think this is the one my wife told me was a one direction song? I dunno but its fun and good and I do like it quite a bit.
Cherry Blossom - Oh this is cute! Cherry on top~~ this is precious. Nobody makes cutie music like this anymore… we used to be a society. I don't have much else to say… its cute and its good and its my style, what else is there to say?
Mr. - oh hm… i mean listen, i'll for sure give it that it reminds me of times past when kpop boys wore heavy eyeliner but thats… kinda where it stops… is it bad? No. is it for me? Also no.
Worst Thriller - me when I'm talking about… uhh… i dont watch a lot of thriller movies actually… so this is less funny than I thought. No matter. This song is also… hm. Not for me :) and that is okay!
Over & Over - OHHH THIS IS THE ONE DIRECTION SONG MY WIFE WAS TALKING ABOUT… yeah she's so right, they did kinda steal the Angel Eyes beat… nct fight back??? Now see. I want to really like it because it does give me the 1D vibes which is something I look for a lot. However. The fact that all I can hear is the Angel Eyes beat is bother me just a touch… so I don't know that I can rank this so high… hm.

Oh this is already starting off soooo good… I will be the first to admit I have missed the "old" il volo more than I can admit,,, to be fair though, I've been on the il volo train since I was in 5th grade and now I'm 23. OH MY GOODDDDD stop its SO good. GIANLUCA MY BELOVED I LOVE THISSSSSSS its like a mix of old and new and im LIVING for it!!!!!
Capolavoro - okay, it may not be fair to say so, but I've listened to this song several times a day ever since it came out. I love it so much. There's a lot about it that means a lot to me… maybe one day I'll write a puppychow post about it. I just. It's just. Like. There are very few things in the world that feel like they're wholly mine… this song feels like its wholly mine. And there is something so special about that. AND ALSO ITS A GOOD SONG MAN IDK

Il mondo all'incontrario - Any song that has a title that has the words il mondo is absolutely something that will shatter me, so lets fucking go get shattered. Yup. Yup i feel. Mm. Hear me out on this. It feels a little bit like sad 5sos music if il volo did it which is something that is SOOO good to me like… nobody gets it! AND ALSO??? Each song being like 3 mins + is soooo refreshing… this is what I needed from the world.
Succede - ooh this sounds like its about to shatter me too… fun. Yuppppppp it sure is hitting! OH MY GOD THE GRIT IN HIS VOICE STOP… idk,,, part of me is like i want everyone ever to listen to every il volo song ever but then theres this part of me thats sitting here right now that is just. Bathing in soft yellow lighting and feeling like I'm 14 again and I have something of my own that no one can take from me, and I'm her but better and that is something so. Lovely to me.
Who Wants to Live Forever - this title is ringing a bell… and it also wouldnt be an il volo album without an english cover. Not mad at it. Need to find out where I know it from. OH queen… duh. But I feel like I knew it from PS too.. Un memento. Yuppp miraclass. I'll admit. I don't know how the original song goes… However. This version is also… very good. Not enough to be on repeat all month, but good!
Ad Astra - okay so normally I don't do intro/outro songs because they usually arent anything other than instrumental or talking and it doesn't feel fair to rank those, but this is a whole 5 minute song?? so of course I have to add it in while I'm in the middle of editing the code for posting.. anyway there's not much else to say other than like. Nobody is doing it like them and I am so fortunate to have taken paths in live that led me to this moment to enjoy this song. Thank you universe and thank you Il Volo.

Good Bones - There's something to be said for the fact that I looked at this album and immediately felt disappointment at all of the songs being less than three minutes... by a lot. But whatever. THIS SONG, however, kind of slaps. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be an intro or an actual track, but I really do like the backing instrumental, and I think it's cool that each member gets to talk in a different language. The more I'm getting through it,,, I'm assuming this is an intro which I usually don't include in my rankings because it doesn't count. So... good for them!
EASY - This isn't really my vibe of music, which I think is important to say, because I don't think it's bad, I just think its not for me, and that's okay! I feel like I could jam to it and if it came on shuffle, I probably wouldn't skip it unless I was in a specific mood, but it's also not something I would go searching for, if that makes sense?
Swan Song - Ooh.. interesting intro,, it's giving "I might kill my ex" which is... questionable perhaps in regards to intellectual properties? It's fine, I don't give a fuck. LOL! Song wise, it's okay! This is also something I'd have to be in a mood to listen to, but this IS something I would seek out. Problem is, I'm not in this kind of chill mood enough to appreciate this. Is it bad? No. Is it my favorite thing ever? Also no. And that's okay!!
Smart - I have heard many a clip of this on tiktok, I cannot lie. I don't like it because of that, though. I like it because it's bouncy and fun to dance to, or at the very least, sway back and forth to. I do have a question about what the lyrics are supposed to be, though? I'm not one to base the like I have of a song on the words, I'm just confused. It's great though! It goes in the likes.
We got so much - Starting off, I'm BEGGING this to not be an outro song because I like it a lot already. It seems to not be, which is really nice. Outro song in the sense that Good Bones was an intro track, yknow? This is a proper song, and I really do like it a lot. It isn't something that I would put as a total 5 star for myself but it's really good. If I could give it a 4.5 I would. Consider it a 4.5 but I don't have half ratings and I do enough math on the daily, I don't need to do more on my site, LOL!

Best For You - I'll be the first person to say that I don't love the robotic sound that the song started with BUT with that said… it got better 2 seconds later which I love, I don't like having to wait. Anyway this is?? SO good what the FREAK!!!
Tokyo Spiral - It's an interesting song, still, but alas this goes into the category of songs that I think my mom would like more than me/songs I only play in the car when I want to have a moment… is it a bad song? Not at all!! Is it for me? Also no, sadly.
Spread The Wings - I am such a sucker for this um… what is it called? A sample? Interpolation? Instrumental? I DON'T KNOW I JUST LIKE IT OKAY!!! I will say… not a song I would listen to all the time, it is very mood dependent but that's okay cos when it hits, it HITS!
Spark It Up - Don't mind if I do!! I feel like my tastes are very oddly specific ? Because while this has a similar vibe to songs before where I said they weren't for me, this falls in the category of good for background music to dance and vibe to but not something I'd search up? Well… no I don't know… I think I would search for this the more I hear it… you know a song is good when the half white in me can lock in and hit a beat with my hips so… slay!
Bitter Sweet - Now hold awnnn,,, this follows that pattern of like… good for being on repeat but not something I would wake up in a cold sweat to search for? GOD I NEED TO STOP MAKING RATINGS BEFORE IT HITS I ALWAYS DO THIS ITS SO GOOOD WAIITTT let this be a lesson in patience.

Manito - I want so badly to give this a full 5 stars but its just the tiniest bit flat for me,,, but honestly? Not a bad way to go out on an album!! I'm really excited to see where they go from here… and you can consider me stanned.

Nightwalker - Oh, I love how we’re starting out funky as hell already… I should also note that I haven’t seen any music video or performance for this album so I’m just going off musical vibe, which, if you were to ask me, is how we should all listen to music, but that’s neither here nor there. Oh. Hmm. So here’s the thing. I personally do not love falsetto from anyone, and ten is not exempt from this, and for those notes alone, he has lost a point, but he couldn’t have known that I’m insane and picky. Lyric wise? Not too bad.
Water - Again with the falsetto, BUT the guitar gave him that point back immediately so we ball. This song gotta be about WAP fr. OH THIS FEELS?? Oh this is… yeah.. he ate y’all up with this one, I fear!
Dangerous - Someone needs to stop Ten from making cuntilicious music… this is so easy to listen to and it’s such a nice vibe but I also can tell he was, for lack of better words, in heat, when he was writing this. And good for him! This may have tied with water for first place… that will likely change when I have a second listen, but for now we have two favs.
ON TEN - Okay well. It’s starting out like a Friday Night Funkin’ beat which is… bringing me back to A Time but thats, again, not his fault. I think my mom would like this song a lot more than I would, but that’s just because it’s not my style of music. I will say, this would bump hard as hell in the car, and one day I’ll find out. Not right now, though. It’s only rated so low because this is MY review and it’s not for me. As always, take nothing on this page as factual, I’m just a dog behind a computer saying things.
Shadow - Okayyyy rebound song! Now hold awn because I’m having a vision… oh… never mind, I cannot do the whispering… that’s going to be a DNF but from the little bit I heard, it was pretty good!
Lie With You - Take a shot every time I say I miss One Direction. That said, this does give me like. Distant cousin vibes for that. DAMNIT THO I didn’t want to have three favorites right out of the gate, that’s not how this is supposed to work!! It’s fine, I like good music and this is good music. I really do wish there wasn’t whispering in Shadow because then it would have been a no-skip album but alas, that’s a personal thing. I think… it’s hard to compare all of them, though, since Water and Dangerous are very clearly… good macaroni songs and this song is very. Bug vibes all around. So maybe I’ll leave this one as my fav of the entire album, but know that that doesn’t take away from Water or Dangerous. Anyway. Good vibes, thanks Ten. Keep serving CUNT.

I GOT YOU - I feel like I have a predisposition to already love this song because I watched it with my friends and I love my friends and this reminds me of them, so there’s that. I wish it was longer, I will say that. I don’t think it’s the best song I’ve ever heard, but it’s a very good song.
ONE SPARK - It’s at this point that I’m realizing that it’s been many years since I listened to an entire Twice album start to finish and it is also at this point that I’m kicking myself for doing so. This song is GREAT. Again, I do wish it was longer, but the little part before the chorus (oh, forgive me for I know not what music parts are) is Too Good. THE END VOCALS… queen I love you.
RUSH - Take a shot every time I say that a kpop song needs to be longer than three minutes, especially if it’s this good. I think that so far, this is my favorite song of this album… it does make me really sad that it isn’t super long since I like it a lot. I’m hesitant to call it a 5 star song because I don’t think it is for me, but it’s something that’s up there for sure. I wish I could give half points but alas… I want to be consistent. Just know it’d be like a 4.75.
NEW NEW - Twice just doesn’t miss, I think that’s the lesson we’re taking away from this. This is kind of taking me back to my One Direction phase in a weird way? But good weird… like this song should be played in the club but also if I heard twice in the club, I would get the fuck out cos I do not want to be in a club with drunk kpoppies, and that’s just how it is. She is a 4.9 star but I’ll bump her to a 5 because I was able to visualize something I wanna do with the song, which is a good thing my brain does to good music.
BLOOM - Now… I feel like since I developed a bias for NEW NEW, this one is falling a touch flat for me. Again, not a bad song, but it does irk me that this is one of the longer ones and it isn’t the best. It does go hard, but unfortunately it does not go as hard as I would like for my own personal tastes.
YOU GET ME- OH IT IS SOOO CLEVER. I’m sorry I’m such a sucker for stories like this, even if it’s just like. I don’t know how to explain it. It’s a nice song, I like it a little more than BLOOM, for sure, but she’s no NEW NEW… However, I am once again staring directly at the camera and wondering what the hell is going on with songs that are shorter than 3 minutes… I just started getting into it and now its over… that’s a little disappointing, but that’s not their fault. Overall, a very pleasant listen :)

ANWYAY WORLD FUCKIN STOP THIS IS SO ASTRO ONE DIRECTION SVT CODED I CANNOT DO THIS ACTUALLY... what the hell... this makes me look like a fuckin hater after what I gave lsfrm but!! IM SORRY!! I am nothing if not a directioner for the rest of my life. Not in the weird way like that girl on tiktok who thinks her toddler looks like Louis, but the kind that just loves. This kind of music. I am simply a girl who yearns for the serotonin I got when I was 13.
first hooky - is that how that's really spelled? hookey? Do people even use that word anymore? Anyway... I like this a little less than the other ones but not enough to skip it if it ever came on.. this feels a lot like "kpop" if that makes sense to anyone? If I can be so bold to say so... plot twist should have been as long as this song. If there was an instrumental only version of this song, I would be very happy. It's alright, it's not bad, it's just not my favorite thing ever.
BFF - Big shoes to fill with this,,, p1h BFF is The song tbh. Oh this is.. also kpop but also leans to that astro svt lovechild thing... hrmmm... I do not love that rap section that goes up and down, I must be honest. The rest of it is really good though!! This is a cute song and I'm claiming it for my girlfriend and I... sorry everyone else, this belongs to us now.
Oh Mymy: 7s - So. If I can be so bold. I didn't like it the first time I heard it. I don't like it much more now. Is it the worst thing I've ever heard? No, I wouldn't put something like that on here, I've learned my lesson. While I do love that small intro of an instrument.. the rest of it is just not something I can vibe with... I think if they would have promoted themselves with tracks 1 2 or 4, I would have been on board since day one. Alas... that is not the case. Don't get me wrong, I do love me some repetitive lyrics and a fun beat, but this is just something that... maybe it's the anti drop that is so disappointing for me? I don't know.
